At COTSWOLDSTRAVEL we never get tired of driving our guests around the Cotswolds. All the tours are bespoke and here are just some examples of what we might do with you. The photographs here illustrate that the Cotswolds are enjoyable whether travelling in Spring, Summer, Autumn (The Fall) or Winter.

1. THE NORTHERN COTSWOLDS
Bourton-on-the-water, Lower and Upper Slaughter, Bibury (Arlington Row) , Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Batsford, Blockley (of Father Brown fame) Snowshill (where some of Bridget Jones’ Diary was filmed), Chipping Campden, Broadway, (Although Stratford-on-Avon is not in the Cotswolds, it`s so close by it would be sinful to not visit), Winchcombe (Sudeley Castle).
The risk on this tour is that you ask for so many stops and you take time over so many photographs that the day has gone before we have driven to the full set.

2. THE SOUTHERN COTSWOLDS
Cranham Woods, Painswick, Stroud, Cirencester (Corinium to the Romans), Castle Combe, Malmesbury (The oldest continuously lived in town in England), Bath (Aqua Sulis to the Romans), Tetbury and into the district of royal residences including Highgrove and Gatcombe, 

3. HEADING NORTH
Although technically not in the Cotswolds, many visitors expect to visit Shakespeare`s town: Stratford-upon-Avon. We can cover some of our northern villages – Stow, Stanway, Stanton and Broadway – on the way to Stratford. Time allowing we may also visit Gloucester Cathedral where John Stafford Smith (who wrote the music to the American National Anthem) was Christened.

4. THE TRULY BESPOKE
There are some grand gardens in the Cotswolds including Rococo, Hidcote and Kiftsgate. We will happily include a garden visit into any tour. We have also found that some tourists are in the area because their ancestors lived here : if you have been researching your family history and have a list of must-see villages, let us know. There are other special interests across the Cotswolds. For example, some like to visit the home of William Morris, the driving force behind the Arts & Crafts movement who worked, at one time, with Frank Lloyd Wright in Chipping Campden and Broadway Tower.
