We’re delighted to have been featured in the Summer 2026 edition of Ox Country Magazine in an article by Michelle Heather, highlighting the unique experiences we offer to visitors exploring the Cotswolds.
The feature explores what makes a guided tour so special, from uncovering the fascinating history of the Cotswolds’ wool towns to discovering literary connections with J.R.R. Tolkien, hidden villages, scenic back roads and iconic destinations including Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and beyond. It also shares a little of my own journey, from working as a tour guide in Cape Town to returning home and creating Cotswolds Travel to help visitors experience this remarkable part of England.
The article also highlights my children’s book, Monet Mouse, inspired by the Cotswolds and now beautifully illustrated by a Cheltenham artist. It’s a wonderful keepsake for younger visitors and families who join us on tour.
A huge thank you to Michelle Heather and everyone at Ox Country Magazine for the lovely feature. If you’re planning a visit to the Cotswolds—or even if you’re a local looking to discover places you’ve never explored before—we’d love to welcome you aboard.
